Info Alert Overview

Info-Alert: Using data to keep an eye on your critical issues

You can't spend all of your time monitoring your data to make sure everything is running smoothly. The Info-Alert application, however, is built to do just that. Imagine an extra employee who never sleeps and never takes breaks, and keeps a constant eye on data to make instant corrections or send alerts when necessary.

With Info-Alert, you can

  • Catch data entry errors while there is still time to correct them
  • Find exceptions in your data that you should know about
  • Automatically send late notices, acknowledgements, ship notices, etc.
  • Update CRM systems or other databases with alert information

Info-Alert automatically performs tasks accurately and instantly, without waiting for input or interaction. Use it to create a variety of automated functions:

Alerts

Info-Alert scans your data looking for conditions or criteria such as purchases that have not been received, orders with a low gross margin, important items that need to be reordered, and so on. Once identified, you will be alerted by email, fax, or printed report.

Jenny had to look up overdue invoices. Info-Alert automatically sends Jenny a report of customers with AR invoices unpaid over 60 days.
Jim spent extra time sending emails to customers following each sale. Info-Alert now sends order acknowledgements as soon as the order is complete, freeing Jim up for other tasks.
Pat never found out customers had reached their credit limit until they wanted to order something new. Info-Alert now sends Pat an email when customers reach their credit limit, so she can pro-actively solve the problem before the next sale.
