How to Get the Most out of the Open Systems Customer Conference
The Open Systems Customer Conference is the highlight of our year, and we put a great deal of effort into packing as much useful information and fun as we can into two short days. You'd be forgiven for being a bit overwhelmed by all of the options! With that in mind, here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your time at the Customer Conference.
- Right now, let us know what you want! Is there a topic you would like covered at the conference? Our very best ideas for breakouts and sessions come from attendees just like you! Email us now as we work on the options for courses and topics, and don't be surprised if you see your idea on the finalized breakout list.
- Before you leave for the conference, connect with us for the latest news. Keep an eye on the customer conference website in the weeks leading to the conference. As we solidify class options and expand our offerings, we'll be posting those updates online. This will give you time to consider which classes will be of the most use to you. You can also get all of our timely updates through our Twitter account, our Facebook page, and our Google Plus page.
- Get to know your neighbors at the conference meals and general sessions. Every person at the conference is a professional, just like you. The conference meals are great opportunities to meet fellow OSAS and TRAVERSE users from across the country—and even the world—and hear how they take on the challenges of making a business successful.
- Prepare for personal attention. Is there a question about TRAVERSE or OSAS you've always wanted to ask an expert? Do you want to see a particular procedure performed on a screen right in front of you? Then the learning lab is for you. We'll have support and training experts on hand with fully-loaded machines, so get those questions ready.
- Visit our exhibitors. Each of our exhibitors is a carefully chosen provider of business solutions that work with your software to help you get work done. In past conferences, the exhibit area has been a popular spot to chat with solution providers, view demonstrations, and take home valuable ideas about how your business and accounting software solution can do more for you.
- Mix it up in the breakouts. The classrooms are where it all happens! We have lots of breakouts to offer on a variety of different subjects. You'll have plenty of chances to expand your current expertise, or learn something entirely new.
- Bring the family. Being away from your loved ones can be a drag, so why not bring your family with you to Minnesota? While the conference events are adult-only, the Mall of America is chock-full of entertainment options. If that's not your family's speed, then you can step outside and discover why Minnesotans love August in their home state! Summer in Minneapolis is filled with countless things to try.
We hope you're as excited as we are to get to the Radisson Blu in August. If you have any questions in the meantime, don't hesitate to email Marketing Director Carla Alarcon. Hope to see you then!
