Recent automatic updates for OSAS version 8 and TRAVERSE

With the release of OSAS version 8, both TRAVERSE and OSAS now feature automatic update processes that will bring you the latest fixes and features as they are added. It’s yet another way that your maintenance subscription adds real value to your software solution.

So what’s new in OSAS and TRAVERSE?

OSAS

Customer Inquiry in Accounts Receivable: When you are working with a customer in Customer Inquiry, you can now print a detailed report for that customer without leaving the inquiry function.

Excel file export update: When you export reports to Excel, numbers are now formatted as numeric field types and columns are no longer allocated for the left and right empty borders on the report.

Install Maintenance Updates in Contractors' Job Cost: This build introduces online maintenance update support for the newly-released Contractors' Job Cost application. Contact your software provider for more information about CJC for OSAS version 8.

Accounts Receivable Recurring Entries update: The Recurring Entries List now includes the Run Code field in the Totals area.

Accounts Receivable Summary Invoice History Report printing options: You now have the option to pick the document type to print; you can print invoices only, credit memos only, or both.

TRAVERSE

General Periodic Processing: The audit logs for the Periodic Processing functions in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Requirements Planning, Sales Order, and Warehouse Management now include the criteria used when you run the function.

CRM Manage Tasks: This new function, similar to the existing Tasks function, does not automatically pre-filter for tasks related to the current user, allowing you more easily manage the tasks of other users.

CRM Contacts: If the contact is associated with a customer that has activity in a Project Costing Project or Service Director Work Order, you can now open those interactive views directly from links on the task pane for the Contacts function.

Activity Report in General Ledger: You can now select report periods that span multiple fiscal years for more complete reporting.

Component Availability View in MFG – Bills of Material: You can now specify any valid unit of measure for the assembly when inquiring about component availability.

Department History Report in Payroll: The report now shows grand totals on both the summary and detail versions.

Transactions in Purchase Order: You can now use the PO Transactions function to purchase service items. Also, the Item Purchase History display now includes information for open orders that have been received but not completed and posted.
