Recent automatic updates for OSAS version 8 and TRAVERSE

With the release of OSAS version 8, both TRAVERSE and OSAS now feature automatic update processes that will bring you the latest fixes and features as they are added. It’s yet another way that your maintenance subscription adds real value to your software solution.

So what’s new in OSAS and TRAVERSE?

OSAS

Information Inquiry in Inventory - When you are working with an item in Item Inquiry, you can now print a detailed report for that item without leaving the inquiry function.

File Maintenance in Inventory - When you are working with an item in Item Maintenance, you can now print a detailed report for that item without leaving the maintenance function.

Customer Inquiry in Accounts Receivable - If you use BBj 14.10 or higher and use GUI mode, an aging graph is available to you on the Balance screen.

Vendors and Invoices Inquiry in Accounts Payable - If you use BBj 14.10 or higher and use GUI mode, an invoice history chart is available to you.

TRAVERSE

New Point of Sale application - This application is designed for use in retail sales environments, and includes functionality to facilitate the rapid transaction processing necessary in a fast-paced retail setting. You can use the Point of Sale terminal application to process sales transactions along with returns and layaways, streamlining the entry and editing of transactional information. The TRAVERSE-based back-office processing allows you greater control of the terminal-based transactions, as well as interactive views and reporting capabilities to give you timely sales and inventory information.

Interactive Views - You can now copy values from individual cells in the view to the clipboard. This allows you to more easily transfer information to other screens or applications.
