2001.05.14 - NAVSEA Awards First Task Order through SeaPort

On 14 May 2001, the SeaPort program office awarded its first task order (TO) through SeaPort. EG&G Technical Services, Inc. (MAC contract number N00024-01-D-7019) won the first SeaPort competition and was awarded a six (6) month task order with a one (1) year option for program management Support for development of advanced technologies for the Advanced Systems and Technology Office (ASTO). The procurement process from PR origination to TO award was accomplished in less than one (1) month.
